Breast Cancer EXERCISES (0-3 weeks post surgery)
BREAST CANCER REHAB EXERCISES (0-3 weeks). This video covers the rehabilitation exercises for the first 3 weeks after breast cancer surgery. These exercises can be done if you've had a lumpectomy, a mastectomy or reconstruction surgery.
This is the program I did after my double mastectomy and again after breast reconstruction and also the program I prescribe to my own patients after their surgery.
EXERCISES:
1️⃣ Hand pumps (10-15x)
2️⃣ Neck circles (10-15x)
3️⃣ Shoulder circles (5x each direction)
4️⃣ Shoulder motion - front, side, back (5x each direction)
5️⃣ Shoulder internal & external rotation (10x)
6️⃣ Shoulder blade squeeze (10x)
7️⃣ Arm lifts (10x)
8️⃣ Pendulum (10-15x)
