Breast Cancer Discovered During Pregnancy

During her pregnancy, Sue noticed a lump on her breast that had grown significantly. A biopsy revealed that the mass was indeed cancerous. Within 24 hours, Sue gave birth to her baby daughter and began treatment for HER2-positive breast cancer.

Thanks to the breast cancer care team led by Dr. Paula Silverman and Dr. Janice Lyons, and a clinical trial at UH Seidman Cancer Center, Sue is now cancer free.
