At 1PM today superstar drummer Ali Brown achieved his mission of drumming for 150 hours in memory of his late partner Sharon Deegan, who died from Pancreatic Cancer in January 2021 aged 49. Fittingly Ali completed his drumming marathon by playing ‘The Last Song’ by the Foo Fighters and the board signifying ‘150 Hours’ was flipped by Sharon’s sister Corriena.

Afterwards Ali gave an emotional speech in which he thanked his team and everyone who has supported him over the past 6 and a half days, in particular singling out Duncan Campbell, who previously played in the band, Universal Remedy with Ali and has been his friend for 30-years. Duncan played the lead role in ensuring his friend’s success.

All monies raised will be split between NIPANC to raise awareness of #PancreaticCancer and fund research, and the mental health charity Mind.
