Advice for anal cancer patients

When Michele Longabough was diagnosed with stage four anal cancer, she not only had to deal treatment for a late-stage cancer; she also had to face the stigma of anal cancer. Many of the people Michele encountered weren’t familiar with anal cancer or felt uncomfortable talking about it. As a cancer survivor, Michele is working to change that stigma and offering hope for newly diagnosed patients.
