Vidit Sharma, MD, MS, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, addresses health disparities in genitourinary (GU) cancers. Disparities often correlate with patients uninsured or not insured and more likely to get financial toxicity from their treatment. Dr Sharma emphasizes early identification of patients at risk of suffering from financial burden from bladder cancer treatment and directing them towards resources for financial advice.
