Every day, 4 Australian women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Sadly, only 46% of them survive.

Ovarian cancer is known as a silent killer because often there are no symptoms, so women aren't diagnosed until their cancer is at an advanced stage, which is very difficult to treat.

That's why researchers at The University of Queensland Centre for Clinical Research are working hard to find an early diagnostic tool which will they hope will improve patient outcomes.
