What are the benefits of including chemotherapy in the treatment of endometrial cancer?

Currently, the standard of care for patients with endometrial cancer is lymphadenectomy and radiation. However, recently, the addition of chemotherapy in patients with Stage IB Grade 3 tumors has been shown to improve outcome.
