Wendy's routine eye test picked up a large brain tumour

A routine eye test at Wendy’s local Specsavers store identified a potentially life-threatening brain tumour. Despite not experiencing any obvious problems with her sight, the optician noted that she had problems with her peripheral vision following a visual field test. She was referred to a medical specialist who found a large tumour wrapped around the optic nerve in her right eye.
