Vascular Tumors are tumors of the vascular tissue chiefly endothelial cells and surrounding supporting cells. They can be benign, intermediate grade and malignant in nature. The types of benign vascular tumors include vascular ectasias such as nevus flammeus, portwine stains, spider telangectasia, hereditary hemmorhagic Telangiectasia.
Hemangiomas
Lymphangiomas
Glomus tumors or glomangioma
Bacillary angiomatosis
Intermediate grade tumors involve Kaposi Sarcoma and hemangioendotheliomas
Malignant types include angiosarcomas and hemangiopericytomas
