Vascular tumor golf benefit

TROY - A fundraiser golf tournament to help those afflicted with vascular tumors.

The Chasing the Cure Golf Benefit is named after Capital District residents Kyla and Jeff Manny's four-year old son Chase, who had a vascular tumor called a hemangioma, removed from under his eye.

The funds enable affected families to receive an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan for free.

After being cancelled due to rain, rescheduling allowed the organizers to double the amount of golfers, doubling their goal to $20,000
