Sammy's Journey With Ewing Sarcoma Cancer.
Hi, I am Sammy Peede a 25 y/o, diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma during September 2016.
The cancer originated in his right leg. After chemo and radiation, he had his distal femur and knee removed and replaced with titanium.
The cancer remained dormant until December 16th of 2019. Just a month
before his wedding in January. The good news occurred as the tumors appeared to rapidly shrink in February, the bad news is by May 5th the cancer returned and Sammy needed emergency surgery too remove lobes from his lung as the chemo was no longer a viable treatment.
Unfortunately, Sammy has experienced many complications since the surgery. On August 10th he received more bad news indicating the cancer had rapidly spread throughout various parts of his body.
The treatment options are limited to an alternative program, Light Works Wellness Center in Tampa. They have treated cancer patients successfully for 23 years by integrating traditional, Westernized cancer therapies and natural, holistic, nutritional and full body approaches.
This program is not covered by insurance, leaving Sam and his family to pay for the pay for the entire cost.
