Pituitary tumour is a kind of brain tumour. Pituitary tumour symptoms are not like other brain tumour symptoms. Pituitary gland insufficiency may be caused by pituitary macroadenomas. Pituitary microadenomas usually are asymptomatic or cause hormonal disorders.

Pituitary tumors may be hormone secreting or non secreting. They may or may not cause visual field defects.
