Nurse Plans Hospital Wedding For Bride After Terminal Stomach Cancer Diagnosis

Destini Schafer and Brandon Thomas planned to elope in Jamaica in May but instead they held their wedding ceremony at a hospital. Destini was diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer so the couple had to cancel their plans. When Destini's nurse, Ashley Shipley-Lovekamp, heard their story she arranged a ceremony at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois.
