Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS): Who is at risk?

Guillermo Garcia-Manero, M.D. in the department of Leukemia at MD Anderson Cancer Center talks about the increasing number of patients who are being diagnosed with Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) after being treated for other types of cancer.

This is referred to as "therapy related" Myelodysplastic syndrome and is being reported after chemotherapy or radiation therapy for conditions like lymphoma or multiple myeloma.
