We helped the Pacific Prime team to do good by doing hand-made wigs that are then given to children with cancer.
Childhood is a time of fun, play and happiness. But when you’re a child with cancer, you miss out on that. Your time is spent in hospital, having treatment. And when children have chemotherapy, their scalps are left too sensitive to even wear wigs.
Unlike traditional wigs, yarn-wigs are comfy, soft, and warm. In this amazing activity, you’ll make wigs out of yarn for children with cancer. You’ll start the day with an introduction and briefing, before working together to create hand-made wigs. Then you’ll finish up with a team photo to commemorate your great work.
Your wigs will bring fun and laughter to kids with cancer in the UAE, Egypt and Pakistan, helping them play and enjoy a normal childhood through an incredibly difficult time in their lives. It’s an inspiring activity everyone in your team can feel great about.
