How to Lower Your Risk of Lymphedema after Breast Cancer Treatment

Lymphedema is common after breast cancer and melanoma cancer treatment with surgery and/or radiation. Breast cancer-related lymphedema and melanoma cancer-related lymphedema are typically caused by lymph nodes removed and radiation. But what can someone do to lower the risk and chance of getting lymphedema?
