Gastric carcinoma are adenocarcinomad and according to Lauren classification are divided into two types:

1) intestinal type gastric adenocarcinoma
2) diffuse type gastric adenocarcinoma

Intestinal type gastric carcinoma are characterized by the development of neoplastic glands ehile in diffuse type gastric carcinoma you see discohesive cells that are scattered singly or in form of clusters.
