ER positive means estrogen positive and PR positive mean Progesterone Positive. That mean the receptors of estrogen and progesterone are present on the surface of the cancer cells. The herceptin receptors are not present. So when there is a ER positive, ER positive, there is something called as hormone replacement . So if the breast cancer is early, you may not be considered for chemotherapy because receptors are positive and there are many criterias that we decide but this is a very important criteria that we decide for the treatment of the patient.
