Leukemia is the most common type of cancer in children. There are two types of Leukemia :
Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is a common Leukemia and forms about 75% of all leukemias and the cure rates have progressed from about 4% from 1960 to 85% today.
Unfortunately, when it comes to Acute Myeloid Leukemia, we are still lagging behind and the cure rates are only about 50%-60% in children as well
