Children's Brain and Spinal Cord Tumor Program

At Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, our brain tumor program is dedicated to babies, children and teens. Because we specialize in pediatrics, we understand their growing bodies, both physically and emotionally, and have the instruments and equipment to meet their needs. We have one of the largest pediatric neurosurgery groups in the country, and perform surgeries on more kids and teens with brain tumors than most other pediatric hospitals. We care for 375 new cancer patients each year, have one of the leading cancer survivorship programs and participate in research with renowned institutions like Emory University and Georgia Institute of Technology to find new treatments and, hopefully, a cure.
