A Vitamin to prevent skin cancers

The use of oral nicotinamide to prevent skin cancers was published in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2015. The efficacy of the vitamin seems impressive and its use in mainstream dermatological practice would be beneficial for patients. This lecture looks at the evidence in the ONTRAC study, some practical considerations on how to use it in daily practice and also looks at the mechanisms by which nicotinamide prevents skin cancers.
