A journey with Ewing sarcoma - Dave & Barbara Harley

Dave Harley and his wife, Barbara share with us a story of hope. Almost 35 years ago, Dave completed 2 years of chemotherapy treatment for Ewing sarcoma.

Up until receiving his diagnosis of a primary bone cancer in 1983, Dave and Barbara were married with two young daughters and Dave had a successful career as a Sales Engineer. After multiple trips to the GP, A&E and a Sports Injury Specialist with pain in his left femur, Dave received the news it was a Ewing sarcoma.

Dave reflects on his journey 37 years on. From the information he received in hospital about his diagnosis, the chemotherapy and surgery and his road to recovery since finding others who could truly understand his experiences.
