Discovering life beyond the diagnosis.
Our son Jacob was diagnosed with a rare chromosome disorder, Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome. We felt scared and alone when we started our journey. I remember desperately searching for stories of other children with BWS to see their outcome because we just didn't know what to expect. Here we are, one year later, and I can't tell you how amazed I am at the difference a year makes. The beginning months are tough, but you will make it through with love, hope, and faith.
