Welcome to the Quironsalud Master Class. Today Drs. Juanjo Torrent and François Quénet are going to talk about the peritoneal carcinomatosis.

Dr. Torrent is an expert in minimally invasive oncological surgery. His area of specialization is focused on the surgical treatment of peritoneal carcinomatosis of ovarian origin, and he is the main investigator in Spain of clinical studies of European scope on the treatment of peritoneal carcinomatosis by cytoreduction surgery.

Dr. Quénet is an expert in digestive and hepato-biliary surgery. He directs peritoneal carcinomatosis treatment programs through surgery plus hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC).

He is the principal investigator of a trial dedicated to research on HIPEC and colorectal cancer.
