Veterans Mental Evaluation Team

The Veterans Health Administration has been serving Veterans for 75 years. Recently, they launched a new pilot program called Veterans Mental Evaluation Team, or VMET. The new VMET program pairs a police officer with a clinical social worker to reconnect with Veterans in crisis and help them get the care they deserve.
