Bjorn Henning Gronberg, MD, PhD, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway, discusses the need to establish a classification system for patients with small cell lung cancer, in order to better personalise treatments. Prof. Gronberg also talks on the difficulty of collecting enough tissue samples from these patients, and the possibility of liquid biopsy being a solution to this problem. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2022 Congress in Paris, France.
