Tumors in the Thymus Gland (Thymectomy)

Surgical treatment involves removal of the thymic tumors and/or the thymus gland (thymectomy). Two other less common conditions also benefit from removal of the thymus gland: red cell aplasia and hypogammaglobinemia.
