Massimo Terzolo, MD, University of Turin, Turin, Italy, discusses management strategies for patients with recurrent adrenocortical carcinoma after surgery. Recurrence is common in this group of patients, where localized therapy in the form of additional surgery and radiotherapy is often used to manage disease. Distant metastasis can further worsen outcomes, but adjuvant therapy may benefit a select number of patients. This interview took place at the ESMO Sarcoma and Rare Cancers Congress 2023 in Lugano, Switzerland.
