Three tips for eyelid cancer prevention

Did you know cancer can develop on your eyelid? Fortunately, eyelid cancer can be prevented. About 95% of eyelid cancer cases in the United States are a result of sun exposure. By protecting the skin on your eyelids from the sun you can help lower your eyelid cancer risk, says Richard Allen, M.D., Ph.D., professor and oculoplastic surgeon at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
