Rebecca Epperly, MD, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN, discusses the unmet needs of pediatric adrenocortical carcinomas. Within the pediatric cancer population, adrenocortical carcinomas are rare and often harbor TP53 germline mutations. This distinct subset has very poor outcomes despite aggressive multimodal therapies. One of the key challenges are the limited availability of models to investigate pediatric adrenocortical carcinomas preclinically. This interview took place at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2023 in Orlando, FL.
