Surgical Management of Appendiceal Tumors

This video covers surgical management of cancers of the appendix. We review the basic surgical options for appendiceal cancers, and the many (often overlapping) names for subtypes of appendiceal tumors (NETs, LAMN, HAMNs, adenocarcinoma, etc). We then discuss in broad strokes which patients are treated by appendectomy alone vs which patients will need more invasive surgery.
