REVISION SURGERY FOR RESIDUAL SOFT TISSUE SARCOMA (CANCER)

Radiation therapy is not an alternative to poorly done surgery for soft tissue sarcoma. Sharing feedback and story of a lady with soft tissue sarcoma of the ankle who came to us with a non-healing ulcer after surgery (positive margins) done elsewhere and radiation therapy. She had to undergo revision surgery in the form of excision of tumour bed and flap cover.
