Pre-clinical activity of tipifarnib in CTCL

Providing us with insight into a trial not yet published, Pierluigi Porcu, MD, from Jefferson Hospital, Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, Philadelphia, PN, discusses his team’s investigation into potential molecular biomarkers of response in mice induced to overexpress cytokine IL-15. Dr Porcu uses tipifarnib, a farnesyltransferase inhibitor which targets the RAS pathway, to treat the induced cutaneous T-cell lymphoma developed in the mice.
