Peritoneal Cancer Awareness Month - September

Peritoneal cancer is a rare and aggressive cancer. It is sometimes called the "silent killer" because it usually does not cause symptoms until it is in advanced stages. But there is hope. It is possible to treat.
Although it is rare, it is sometimes seen as early as 25 years old.
Symptoms include pain in the abdomen, pelvic area, and back.
