Many childhood cancers are highly treatable now. More than 80 percent of kids who get cancer today survive five years or longer. Some of the more common types of pediatric cancer include leukemia, brain and central nervous system tumors, lymphoma, neuroblastoma and nephroblastoma (kidney cancer).
