Nicola Barber came in to give this excellent account of her advanced adrenal cancer, which was diagnosed in 2011. She discusses the diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy with Mitotane (including side effects). Nicola discusses the importance of support from work colleagues, family and friends. She discusses her positive change in outlook after her cancer diagnosis. Nicola mentions the finding of lung metastases. Nicola worked in a GP practice so she knows a lot about the medical system. In the video she talks about coping with taking time off work but also letting colleagues know about cancer
