Multiple myeloma

Kristine Misund and her co-workers focus on multiple myeloma which is a special kind of cancer in the bone marrow. This disease is today incurable but the researchers are hoping that their work to understand how the myeloma cells survive in the bone marrow can identify new targets for treatments.
