Elizabeth Kaoh, MA, MS, RD, radiation oncology, and Nancee Jaffe, MS, RDN, digestive diseases, will discuss what malnutrition is and how to diagnosis it, understanding of how malnutrition affects specific populations such as esophageal cancer, gastric cancer and head & neck cancer, key considerations in maintaining nutrition status for patients with esophageal cancer and the registered dietitian’s roles in monitoring nutrition status during cancer treatment.
