Limb Salvage Surgery by Cryotherapy Technique | Ewing's Sarcoma | Liquid Nitrogen Technique

Limb Salvage for a middle aged female suffering from Biopsy proven Non- Metastatic Ewings Sarcoma in middle 1/3rd region of her humerus. Patient had an excellent response to Chemotherapy clinically and on imaging.
As part of local therapy did intercalary resection with wide margins (confirmed on multiple frozen sections intra-operatively) and sterilized the tumour bearing bone with Liquid Nitrogen (at minus 196 degrees Celsius) and re-implanted the same bone back. Internal fixation done with Philos and distal osteotomy augmented with small LCP and Beta-TCP bone allograft granules.
