Lap for Life Gives Back

The 8th annual Lap4Life – conceived by Maddalena Casabianca-Reade as a way to support her brother, Dr. Angelo Casabianca, who battled and eventually succumbed to a rare Desmoid tumor at 39 – has grown every year since its inception in 2009. Held the third Saturday of each June at Chadwick Lake Park, this year’s event had more than 1,500 participants, raising and donating $35,000 to the Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation and $24,000 to LiveOnNY.
