Kaley & Dr. Johnson: Battling Childhood Leukemia Together

Kaley, a young patient at Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, has been receiving chemotherapy to fight childhood leukemia. A special condition affecting her spinal cord made it difficult to get the medicine where it needed to go.

Dr. Craig Johnson, one of only 2 pediatric interventional radiologists in Florida, was able to use the latest 3-D imaging technology to help deliver Kaley's critical medicine with pinpoint accuracy.

Over the course of her treatments, Kaley and Dr. Johnson have developed a special friendship -- and Dr. Johnson will be Kaley's escort for the Runway to Hope gala on May 10. Runway to Hope's mission is to provide direct support and aid to Central Florida children and their families impacted by pediatric cancer.
