Ion robot early lung cancer detection and same-day surgery to remove lung tumor

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is the first hospital in the D.C. region to combine the use of the Ion robot for minimally invasive bronchoscopy for early lung cancer detection with same-day surgery to remove lung tumors.
