Implementation of the WHO global initative on childhood cancer in latin america an the Caribbean

The WHO Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer aims reaching at least a 60% survival rate for children with cancer by 2030, thereby saving an additional one million lives. PAHO, together with its partners at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, collaborates with the Ministries of Health, pediatric oncologists, and foundations to develop national plans and implement the Initiative in Latin America and the Caribbean.
