Immunotherapy: A Promising New Childhood Cancer Treatment

Immunotherapy, which uses the body’s own immune system to target and destroy cancer cells, is now at the forefront as a promising new cancer treatment. With support from The Faris Foundation, Texas Children’s Cancer Center is beginning a clinical trial, HEROS 3.0, for children and young adults with recurrent sarcomas, a type of cancer of the muscle or bone.
