Daisha (DAY-sha) Lewis is 35 years old. For the last 21 years, she has battled rare cancer called Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. She would spike high fevers that would leave her incapacitated, along with excruciatingly painful headaches that would occur whenever she cried, since she was seven. Her mother took her to every doctor and hospital in Maryland, but no one could find anything. It wasn’t until she moved to Georgia at age 12 that things flipped upside down, as two years later, at fourteen years old, she would finally discover the culprit of my constant woes.
