I had surgery to have my PEG feeding tube inserted. The surgery was fairly quick. The feeding tube was uncomfortable for about 1 week after the surgery. I explain in the video that I hope I don’t have to use it, but I’m happy to have the feeding tube as a precaution. There may come a time while I’m getting radiation therapy that I won’t be able to swallow food. So I feel good about having the feeding tube as a precaution to ensure I consume enough calories to maintain my weight during treatment.

As always thanks for your support. I’m so grateful for all the kind messages, prayers, support and advice I received. I’m also well aware there are many people watching these videos who are dealing with cancer, or perhaps have a loved one who has cancer. Try to stay positive and we can beat this together.

Much love
David
