There are various types of thyroid cancer. One spectrum is well differentiated thyroid cancer, another spectrums is T differentiated anaplastic and lymphoma which is very advanced. The early thyroid cancer don’t present with symptoms like lump in the chest , change of voice, loss of weight, or the neck nodes etc. They are all features of advanced thyroid cancer. The only effective way to identify early thyroid cancer is screening by an ultrasound. In most of the countries, there will be no screening. S if you fall into a high risk group like familial variety of thyroid cancer or there is an unexplained radiational exposure or there is lot of familial thyroid cancer in your family, the way to know is screening by high frequency ultrasound probe or people come with lymph node, change of voice in advanced cancer but one good thing is thyroid cancer in advanced stage also it does very well. So always there is a ray of hope. So get it treated.
