Girl's Tongue Won't Stop Growing

Meet this girl with a long tongue that grows nonstop.

This child, whose tongue won't stop growing, prepares for her first day of school. She's already undergone three operations.

This precious little girl's name is Olivia Gillies. She was born with a rare condition called Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome. This affects about one in 15,000 children in the UK alone.

Three operations have already taken place in the child's four-year lifespan in order to reduce her tongue's size, which will allow her to learn to talk and live a normal life.

This is a picture of the adorable little girl at Christmas last year.
