Georgia State Southern Gospel Music Convention Bremen GA 2011

On October 6-7, 2011, the Georgia State Gospel Music Convention was held in Bremen, Georgia at Bethel Baptist Church. The event was attended by several hundred singers from Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. The Southern Gospel Convention music tradition will be featured in Bremen, Georgia, when the city hosts the Smithsonian Institution's New Harmonies: Celebrating America's Roots Music in February and March 2013.
