Gastric Neuroendocrine Tumors (NETs)

This video covers gastric NETs. We first delineate NETs from other tumors that arise from the stomach (eg adenocarcinoma, GISTs). Then we discuss the origin of NETs from gastric enterochromaffin cells. We cover the three different types of gastric NETs and the underlying pathophysiology of each one. We then cover how the different pathophysiology leads to different treatment strategies.
